Aspire People are currently recruiting SEND teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Chesterfield.

The school caters for students in KS1 through to KS4. This role requires experience working in the care sector and an interest in applying those skills within education.

Responsibilities

  • Working one‑to‑one with students
  • Working with a number of assistants and collaboratively with the class teacher
  • Developing social and cognitive development
  • Supporting a senior leadership team

Key Details

  • Working hours: Monday‑Friday 8:30 – 15:30
  • Start: January 2026 (rolling contract)
  • Option to extend and become permanent
  • Pay: up to £115 per day (apply online)
  • Location: Chesterfield
  • Transport: Must drive between campuses; mileage reimbursed at 42p per mile
