A special school in Gainsborough (age 5 to 17) is looking for enthusiastic SEMH secondary teaching assistants who are keen to support pupils with complex learning difficulties, including social, emotional, and mental health challenges, ADHD, childhood trauma, and attachment issues. Full‑time and long‑term roles start in September, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Successful candidates will earn a minimum of £95 per day.
Responsibilities
- You will work with children who need additional support with their social, emotional, and mental health.
- Because of the nature of the work, you may encounter challenging behaviour; it is essential to remain calm, patient, resilient, and professional.
