Aspire People is seeking an enthusiastic, creative and committed Primary SEND Teacher to join a partner specialist school located in Rugby. The role focuses on delivering outstanding education to children with special educational needs and disabilities, creating a positive, engaging, and highly supportive learning environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The pupils served by the school have a range of additional needs, including autism, communication and interaction difficulties, sensory needs and complex learning needs. The successful candidate will adapt learning to meet individual needs while fostering confidence, independence and achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
- Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies.

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally within a primary or specialist setting.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong behaviour management skills.
