Join to apply for the Early Years Teaching Assistant role at ASPIRE PEOPLE LIMITED. Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new full‑time role supporting pupils in a Reception class? We are recruiting a Level 2/3 Childcare Practitioner or Teaching Assistant to support a whole nursery or reception class in Rochdale (OL11). This is a long‑term position starting ASAP, 5 days a week, with expectations to support pupils with special educational needs, including Autism and non‑verbal learners.
Aspire People has worked with this school for a while and receives consistently positive feedback from staff. As an agency‑employed TA, the school expects you to maintain the standards of a permanent staff member.
The following competencies are required:
- Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge.
- Minimum Level 2 Childcare (or equivalent) qualification for ratio purposes.
- Regular assessment of pupils.
- Ability to engage in learning activities.
- Confidence in supporting pupils with Autism and non‑verbal communication.
