Job Type – Resource Base Teaching Assistant

Location – Oldbury

Contract – Full-time (5 days a week)

Role

  • Support children with non‑verbal and speech and language needs, working with pupils of all Primary ages and abilities.
  • Assist with lesson delivery, classroom management, and skill development.
  • Encourage independence, engagement, and participation in learning activities.
  • Collaborate closely with other staff members within the room.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly non‑verbal and speech and language needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Confident working with non‑verbal pupils.
  • Enthusiastic about helping children achieve their potential.
