Have you recently graduated with a Psychology degree and want to gain practical experience supporting children? Aspire People are recruiting Psychology Graduates to work within primary schools supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and additional learning needs. This role provides excellent experience for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Teaching, SENCO, Occupational Therapy, or Child Mental Health. You'll gain invaluable experience working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals while making a genuine difference to children's lives.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Helping children develop emotional regulation and confidence
- Delivering intervention activities under teacher guidance
- Supporting classroom learning and behaviour strategies
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and families where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate:
- Psychology degree or related subject
- Passion for working with children
- Interest in SEND and inclusive education
- Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication skills
