Aspire People is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in South West London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities
- Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Work one-to-one or with small groups to help children achieve their learning goals.
- Assist with classroom management and create a positive, safe, and stimulating environment.
- Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom displays.
- Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
- Foster children’s social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
- Support with playground duties, school trips, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a primary school or early years setting is desirable.
