If your current role is coming to an end, and you are looking for a part-time position from September, we have a role for you! A school local to Sutton Coldfield/Erdington is looking for a flexible teaching assistant who will work 3 days per week, covering with other part-time staff members. As you will be working with different children each day, an adaptable individual is required.

Role Overview

  • 1 day of the role is class-based within Reception.
  • 1 day will be spent supporting a child in Reception with SEMH and ADHD.
  • The final day will be working with a child in Year 5 with ASD who can often be defiant.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 3+ Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis
  • Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
  • Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years
