Applicants must be able to work the school hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access learning
- Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom support
- Providing targeted SEN support where required (SEN roles)
- Helping implement individual education and behaviour plans
- Supporting pupil engagement, independence and progress
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Requirements
- Experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)
- SEN experience desirable for SEN Teaching Assistant roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, flexible and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
