The Role:
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment and departmental activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote high-quality teaching and learning. The
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
- Is committed to raising achievement and inspiring a love of English.
- Has strong communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
