Aspire People are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Monmouth, working with 121 with an Early Years pupil with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

This is a long-term opportunity starting in ASAP, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN.

The role s initially mornings only

The Role

  • Supporting a pupils 1:1
  • Assist with tailored learning activities
  • Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a regulated childcare/education setting OR
  • Relevant childcare/education qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent)
  • Calm, patient, and committed approach
  • SEN experience desirable but not essential
