Overview
This full‑time position is based in Royston, Hertfordshire (SG8 Area) with working hours from 08:30 am – 16:30 pm. Salary ranges from £90,000 to £110,000 per annum. The role starts as soon as possible or in January 2026, with interview dates scheduled for 3 and 10 December.

Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with feeding, dressing and toileting, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times.
- Supporting Learning: Provide one‑on‑one or small group support, adapting lessons and resources to individual needs.
- Care Plans: Follow individual care and learning plans, meeting health, safety and development needs.
- Therapeutic Support: Assist with sensory learning activities and therapeutic interventions for emotional and sensory regulation.
- Behavioural Support: Implement behavioural strategies directed by teachers and specialists.
- Developing Communication: Support students with communication difficulties through Makaton and other strategies.
Onboarding and Training
- Lego Therapy: Structured activities promoting social and communication skills.
- Sensory Learning: Tailored activities supporting sensory development and regulation.
- Individual Education Plans (IEPs): Learn to develop and implement tailored learning strategies.
- Risk Assessments: Managing risk to ensure a safe environment for all students.
- Makaton: Key tool for communication with children who have limited verbal skills.
