Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing a career in Clinical or Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Teaching or Social Care? This is more than a Teaching Assistant role. You'll work within a specialist school alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, supporting children and young people aged 6-19 with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs and SEMH.
The Role
- Support students in the classroom and throughout the school day.
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support.
- Encourage communication, emotional wellbeing and independence.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Provide personal care where required.
