Position: SEN Teacher – Chorlton, Manchester

Start Date: September 2026

Role

  • Deliver tailored lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
  • Adapt curriculum content to meet individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Support pupils with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders.
  • Create a structured, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting strategies where needed.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
  • Primary teaching background with SEN experience or specialism.
  • Experience working in SEN or specialist settings.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and EHCPs.
  • Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
