Aspire People are recruiting Psychology Graduates to work in supportive school environments across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

These roles are ideal for graduates who want to apply their understanding of child development, behaviour, communication, and emotional wellbeing while gaining practical experience supporting pupils with SEND.

The Role May Include:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND, ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Working with pupils who have SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support
  • Helping pupils access learning and overcome barriers in the classroom
  • Supporting communication, social development, and emotional regulation
  • Assisting with interventions and personalised learning activities
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology, Child Psychology, Education, or a related subject
  • A genuine passion for child development and inclusive education
  • Experience with children, young people, mentoring, tutoring, or support work is desirable
  • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to support pupils with different needs and abilities
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
