Aspire People are recruiting on behalf of a supportive primary school looking to appoint an experienced Level3 Teaching Assistant to work within Key Stage1 from September2026. The school is seeking someone with excellent curriculum knowledge who can confidently support whole‑class learning, deliver interventions, and work alongside teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Supporting pupils across Year1 and Year2 classrooms
- Delivering targeted Reading, Phonics, Writing, and Maths interventions
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Helping to prepare engaging learning resources
- Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
The Ideal Candidate
- Level3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Recent UK primary school experience within the last 2 years
- Strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum
- Experience delivering intervention programmes
- Confident supporting pupils of varying abilities
- Positive, organised, and proactive approach
