Aspire People is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs within a mainstream primary school setting. This role will involve supporting pupils with SEND, including learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and social or emotional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
- Helping pupils access the curriculum through differentiated support
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement
- Supporting inclusion within the classroom
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a Level 2 TA qualification
- Has experience supporting children with SEND (school-based preferred)
- Is calm, empathetic, and adaptable
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
