Overview
Head of School β Specialist School.
A permanent post for a specialist SEN/SEMH setting within a trust, starting in September.
The role focuses on leading the behaviour team and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
Responsibilities
- Lead the behaviour team and support staff to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN/SIMH and related conditions.
- Work closely with therapists, support staff, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for every learner.
- Utilise a range of strategies and interventions to support behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and progress.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have QTS or NPQ SEN.
- Extensive leadership experience within SEND and inclusion.
- Fair but firm approach and a clear understanding of the strategic nature of the role.
