We are working with dynamic and inclusive primary schools across South Manchester who are seeking motivated Science graduates to join their support teams this September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in teaching or educational psychology.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced science teachers to support students in lessons and practicals
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to boost engagement and understanding
- Help prepare materials and equipment for experiments
- Inspire students to develop a love of learning and curiosity in science
- Support classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment
Qualifications
- A recent graduate in a science-related discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field)
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is a plus but not essential
