Aspire People are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to support within a welcoming early years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their development.
Responsibilities
- Supporting children within Nursery and Preschool provision
- Assisting with early phonics, communication, numeracy, and social development
- Supporting learning through creative and play‑based activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
- Assisting with observations and monitoring children's progress
- Working closely with teachers, nursery staff, and parents to support pupil development
- Supporting children with varying needs and abilities within the setting
Qualifications and Experience
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
- Experience working within a nursery, preschool, or school‑based EYFS setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Warm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about supporting early childhood development
