Overview
Qualified Teacher - Alternative Provision with Behaviour/SEMH needs. Start in September. Long-term position with a view to going permanent.
Are you a confident, empathetic specialist teacher with experience supporting students with behaviour needs?
This role is within a school’s internal Alternative Provision.
If you have patience and resilience to support students with various challenges and ensure they receive the best possible education, this could be a great long-term or temp-to-perm opportunity.
Work base: Manchester.
You will work closely with parents, teachers and senior leaders, build excellent relationships with students, and be a vital role model.
The AP offers diverse experiences and an exciting curriculum for students to access, with data-tracking on attendance and progress.
You will receive strong support from the school and Aspire People.
Hours: Monday to Friday during school hours, term-time only with an early finish on a Friday.
DBS check required; safeguarding training provided.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ideally required; school can fund training if not
- Experience/ability to support students with SEMH and barriers to learning
- Confident, empathetic, and able to maintain a firm but fair approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils
- DBS check and safeguarding training provided
