We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive primary school in Merton from the start of the summer term. This full-time position is ideal for a qualified and experienced primary teacher who is dedicated to inspiring young learners to achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
- As a Year 5 class teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that promote a love of learning and support strong pupil progress.
- You will work closely with the senior leadership team, subject leads, and teaching assistants to ensure every pupil is supported and challenged appropriately, fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons, ensuring full coverage of the KS2 curriculum.
- Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a growth mindset in all pupils.
- Use assessment data effectively to inform teaching and ensure all learners make strong progress.

About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching at KS2 level, ideally with Year 5 experience.

- A reflective and creative approach to teaching and learning.
