Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Paddington, London Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only Salary: £120-£130 p/d Start Date: To be agreed

We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our welcoming and inclusive primary school in the heart of Paddington.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals, small groups, and whole classes in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to assess pupil progress and contribute to planning next steps.
  • Provide targeted interventions to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs where required.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, school events, and ongoing professional development.

  • Is adaptable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
