functional Skills Aspire People are looking for a Functional Skills Teacher/Tutor to support learners aged 18-23 across three sites in the South East of England.
This is a 3-day-per-week position, supporting young adults to develop their Functional Skills in English and/or Maths and helping them gain th Functional Skills Tutor - 18-23-Year-Old

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Functional Skills lessons tailored to individual learner needs.
- Support learners aged 18-23 working towards Functional Skills qualifications.
- Build positive and professional relationships with learners.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage learners to develop confidence, independence and motivation.
- Maintain accurate learner records and progress reports as required by the agency.
- Work across three sites in the South East of England as required.
About You
- Experienced in tutoring, teaching or supporting young adults.
- Knowledgeable about Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
- Patient, approachable and able to build strong relationships with learners.
- Flexible and comfortable working across multiple locations.
- Reliable, organised and professional.
- Passionate about helping young people achieve their goals.
