Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEMH requirements.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support learning and personal development.
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive classroom environment.
  • Monitor, assess and track student progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff and external professionals.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements

  • Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH and/or Special Educational Needs.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
