Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEMH requirements.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support learning and personal development.
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive classroom environment.
- Monitor, assess and track student progress.
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff and external professionals.
- Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements
- Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with SEMH and/or Special Educational Needs.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
