Aspire People are recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in South Liverpool from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential. You'll work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality classroom support, lead targeted interventions, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The Role
- Support teaching and learning across the classroom alongside the class teacher
- Deliver small-group interventions in Maths, English, Reading and Phonics
- Provide tailored support for pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
- Support assessment activities and monitor pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has recent experience working in a UK primary school within the last two years
- Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum
- Has experience delivering intervention programmes
- Is proactive, reliable and committed to supporting children's learning
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
