Role Summary and Objectives
We are an education specialist recruitment business in need of a confident and experienced education Candidate Resourcer. Working in partnership with our Liverpool Branch, you will build and maintain a candidate pipeline for 3 experienced consultants. Responsibilities include:
- Draft advertising copy for a wide range of media.
- Network, headhunt and use referrals to attract candidates.
- Screen candidates, conduct interviews, perform background checks and present them to consultants.
- Maintain a healthy candidate pool by regularly contacting candidates and providing guidance on salary, training and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new candidates through advertising and database management.
- Screen and match candidates to suitable roles.
- Contact candidates to arrange interviews via various channels.
- Handle administration related to the vetting procedure.
- Address general queries regarding contracts and pay.
Tasks Expected
- Build a candidate pipeline – attraction, selection and conversion.
- Obtain candidate weekly availability.
- Create bookings on the in‑house recruitment software.
- Format CVs.
- Sourcing candidates through various channels.
- Support experienced consultants in filling bookings when required.
- Conduct candidate interviews on/off‑site.
- Gather references.
- Stay current on market knowledge.
Liaising With
Management team, marketing, compliance, payroll, HR and operations, accounts, clients, candidates and external parties connected or relating to the company business.

You are expected to show self‑motivation as a Resourcer. While the sales team will support and encourage you, you must have an abundance of self‑motivation to achieve success.

Understand urgency and prioritise accordingly – a key aspect of the role.
Successful Interviewing
Confidently interview candidates, use open questions to probe, and gain a thorough understanding of their background, strengths, weaknesses and career gaps. Inform candidates of expectations as an Aspire People Teacher/Support member.
Professionalism
Maintain professionalism at all times with clients, candidates, colleagues and peers.
To Be Successful
Proven track record of hard‑work, strong administrative background, and ability to meet targets and prioritise efficiently.
