Aspire People are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to join us very soon on a FLEXIBLE basis in the Louth (LN11) area. Our schools are looking for a person/s to provide effective support to their pupils across the full primary curriculum on a day to day and long-term basis. There are currently multiple opportunities available on both a full and part-time basis and if required may include elements of 1-1 support depending on needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.
- Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and managing classroom resources.
- Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements.
- Supervise students during break times, outings, and other activities as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their development and well-being.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is essential within the UK.
- A genuine interest in working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Basic administrative and organisational skills.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification are desirable but not essential.
