Aspire People are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026. The school is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic individual who has a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and enjoys supporting children during the early stages of their education. This is a long-term opportunity with the chance to become a valued member of the school community.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning within Nursery or Reception
- Delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions to support early development
- Assisting with phonics, early maths, communication, and language activities
- Encouraging learning through play and child-led activities
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and personal development
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has recent experience working within a UK primary school in the last 2 years
- Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
- Experience delivering targeted interventions
- Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
