Aspire People is currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming primary schools.

The Role

  • Support pupils in the classroom to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support where required.
  • For SEN roles, support children with additional needs, helping them access learning in a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school or supporting children with SEN is essential.
  • A positive, caring, and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Must be available to work between 8:30am and 3:30pm.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
