We're seeking experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within inclusive and dynamic learning environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to pupils' learning and development, while working closely with teaching professionals and other education specialists. This would be excellent experience prior to your teacher training!
About you:
- Graduate level, 1st or 2:1 degree
- Ideally have experience working in a school setting (not essential)
- A skilled and proactive practitioner who sets and maintains high standards
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Someone who can work collaboratively with teachers and wider staff teams to support learning and development
Personal Spec:
- Support individual pupils and small groups, under the guidance of a qualified teacher, adapting and differentiating learning activities to meet diverse needs
- Assess, record and report on pupils' progress and development as agreed with teaching staff
- Monitor pupil responses to learning, identifying and escalating any concerns appropriately
- Assist in planning, delivering and evaluating targeted learning interventions and activities
- Select and adapt appropriate resources to facilitate effective learning experiences
- Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development, promoting a positive and inclusive environment
