Aspire People is currently seeking a Graduate Teacher Assistant to support a vibrant secondary school throughout the full academic year. This opportunity is ideal for someone with proven experience, or aspiring teachers who wish to work in a secondary school before pursuing teacher training.

Role

• Support across KS3-4 working alongside class teachers to deliver high‑quality learning
• Work across a range of subjects, mainly within your subject specialism or with young people with additional needs
• Deliver targeted intervention sessions outside of the classroom, helping to raise attainment
• Full‑time position, with the potential to become a long‑term post for the right candidate
• A trial day will be offered for shortlisted applicants

You Will Need

• A degree in core subject, psychology or an education‑related subject
• Recent, relevant experience working with young people is beneficial
• Confidence delivering intervention work to small groups
• A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for education
