Working hours: 08:30 – 15:30 (typical 1:1 or small-group sessions with pupils who have a range of learning difficulties and special educational needs)
As a Learning Support Assistant you will:
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
- Consistently support pupils while responding to their individual needs.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- De‑escalate challenging behaviour by building trusting relationships.
Required experience and skills:
- Recent or relevant experience working with children and young people, especially those with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.
- A passion for education and commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
- High resilience, energy, and the ability to work 1:1 or in small groups.
