Are you organised, practical, and interested in supporting science education? We are currently working with a number of secondary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf who are expected to have Science Technician opportunities from September.

The Role

  • Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for practical science lessons (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
  • Solution preparation and chemical handling
  • Supporting teachers with lesson preparation and demonstrations
  • Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and resources
  • Ensuring all practical work is carried out safely and in line with regulations
  • Managing stock levels and ordering supplies where required
  • Keeping labs clean, safe and ready for use
