Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a substantial amount of experience working with children with additional needs? I am currently recruiting for a school in Four Oaks who are looking to appoint an experienced 1-1 Teaching Assistant. This job is to start as soon as possible and will finish at the end of the academic year, with a chance of going permanent for the right candidate.
This role will be a 1-1 support role with a child at Key Stage 2 level; so, experience in KS2 would be ideal. You will be working with one child in a full class capacity to ensure they remain focused and get the attention and support necessary to help them progress within their school life.
The role is based at a lovely school with a friendly environment, they have structure and an EHCP in place and have a solid SENdCO in school to ensure support is provided and new ideas are put forward to follow the child's progress.
The ideal candidate for this role would have experience working with children or with people who have additional needs. KS2 experience would be ideal, but this is not essential. The focus is to find someone who is reliable, knowledgeable and nurturing and who goes the extra mile to ensure the child progresses and is happy in the school environment.
We find people from a care and social work background who have an interest in working with SEN get on well in these types of roles, also people with personal experience working with children.
