We are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 teacher to join our team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the educational journey of young learners in a thriving school community, located in the heart of Northampton, dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for both our students and staff.

The Role: You will have responsibility for teaching a lively and engaging curriculum, helping to develop key skills in our youngest learners and ensuring they reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS1.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in KS1 across all core subjects.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to ensure all pupils are engaged and challenged.
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, including support staff, to provide tailored learning experiences.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in curriculum and educational developments.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication regarding pupils' progress.

About You: We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Has experience teaching in KS1, with a clear understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Is passionate about nurturing young learners and making a difference in their education.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is a team player, willing to collaborate with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
