HR Administrator – The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Managing staff recruitment processes, including advertising roles, shortlisting, arranging interviews, and onboarding
- Processing pre-employment checks such as DBS, references, right-to-work, and safeguarding documentation
- Maintaining accurate staff records and updating the school\’s HR and MIS systems
- Supporting staff absences, leave requests, and attendance monitoring
- Assisting with payroll preparation and liaising with external payroll providers
- Supporting performance management processes, training records, and staff CPD book
Qualifications
Strong administrative experience, ideally within education or HR. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Understanding of HR practices and compliance requirements.
