About You & The Role

  • Support learners with ALN, SEN, SEMH, and complex needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups within college and post-16 settings.
  • Work alongside Lecturers to deliver inclusive learning, helping students access academic, vocational, and practical courses while promoting independence and confidence.
  • Use positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Bring experience from education, youth work, care, support work, or a similar background, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Be patient, adaptable, and resilient. FE, college, post-16, or school experience is desirable, and EWC registration (or willingness to obtain) is required.
