How to prepare for a job interview at Aspire People Limited

Know Your EYFS Inside Out

Make sure you brush up on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Familiarise yourself with the key areas of learning and development, as well as how to support non-verbal children. This will show your potential employer that you're not just qualified, but also passionate about early years education.

Showcase Your SEND Experience

Since the role involves working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), be ready to discuss your previous experiences in detail. Prepare specific examples of how you've supported pupils one-on-one, especially if you've used techniques like MAKATON.

Engage with the Interviewer

Interviews are a two-way street! Don’t hesitate to ask questions about the school’s approach to teaching and how they support their staff. This not only shows your interest but also helps you gauge if the school is the right fit for you.

Bring Your Enthusiasm

Let your passion for teaching shine through during the interview. Share stories that highlight your love for working with young children and how you’ve made a positive impact in their learning journey. A genuine enthusiasm can set you apart from other candidates!
