The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work at a school in Sutton Coldfield from September 2026 – July 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in Key Stage 1 on a general basis.
  • Support children who are in Key Stage 1 but working to EYFS level.
  • Take children for breaks from the classroom and provide outdoor play and sensory sessions.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils.

Qualifications:

  • Level 3+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable).
  • Enthusiastic, well‑motivated and talented classroom practitioner.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
  • Recent primary school experience within the last 3 years.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Clear Enhanced Child Workforce on the Update Service (if you do not have this, we will require you to apply for a new DBS).
  • Provide at least 2 references covering a minimum of 2 years.
  • Strong EYFS and SEND knowledge.
