Early Years Teaching Assistant - Streetly
I am looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a minimum 1 years' experience to work 1-1 or with small groups of children with a range of special educational needs.

Ideally this candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS and passion for giving young children the best standards of care in an Primary School setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Framework
  • Supervision of students on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Provide additional learning support as identified
  • Engage, motivate, and encourage students to complete work set
  • Make sure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
  • Support the class teacher to manage classroom behaviour
  • Provide feedback to the classroom teacher on student's progress and development
  • Help to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators in the children's learning journey
  • Promote positive behaviour management techniques and establish clear boundaries

Requirements

  • Level 3 TA qualification or a Level 6 Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with children within a primary school
  • Thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its application in planning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
