The Role
- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged.
- Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
- Supporting students with their learning where appropriate.
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons.
We are looking for Cover Supervisors who are
- Confident managing groups of secondary-aged students.
- Reliable, professional and adaptable.
- Passionate about education and supporting young people.
- Able to build positive relationships with students.
- Calm and confident when managing behaviour.
- Comfortable working across different school environments.
- Available for regular or flexible work.
- Previous experience working in a school is desirable but not essential.
Experience in tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work or other roles involving young people will also be considered.
