We are recruiting dedicated Welsh‑speaking Secondary Teachers to work across Welsh‑medium, bilingual, and mainstream secondary schools in Cardiff, Caerphilly, Vale of Glamorgan, Newport, and surrounding areas. These opportunities are ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), PGCE graduates awaiting or recently completing induction, experienced secondary teachers, teachers returning to the profession, and teachers seeking flexible supply or long‑term placements. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging subject‑specific lessons through the medium of Welsh (where required)
- Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable depending on subject)
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality lessons
- Assess, track and support pupil progress
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Work collaboratively with departmental and pastoral teams
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Fluent Welsh speaker
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for secondary teaching roles
- PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification) completed or in progress
- A relevant degree in your subject specialism (e.g. Maths, English, Science, Humanities, etc.)
- EWC registration or willingness to obtain registration
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Passionate about supporting young people’s learning and achievement
