The Role
Aspire People are looking for a qualified Minibus Driver to support education settings across Cardiff, transporting ALN/SEND pupils safely to and from various campuses.
The role may also involve providing transport for school sporting events and educational activities, making this a varied opportunity for an experienced driver looking to work within education.
What You'll Be Doing
- Safely transporting ALN/SEND pupils to and from different campuses
- Supporting daily school and college transport requirements
- Providing transport for sporting events and activities when required
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils throughout journeys
- Completing required vehicle and journey checks
- Building positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff
Essential Requirements
- Category D1 Driving Licence - essential
- MiDAS Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme - essential
- Experience transporting or working with children or young people is desirable
- Experience supporting ALN/SEND pupils is desirable
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
- A professional, reliable and responsible approach
