We are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to work within a specialist setting supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs from September until December, with the possibility of extending.
You will join a welcoming, experienced team where relationships come first and every small achievement is celebrated.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons in a specialist SEMH setting and support pupils to achieve their individual education plans.
- Build trusting relationships with children who need consistency and stability.
- Promote a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH and additional needs.
- Collaborate with a supportive school team and utilise appropriate safeguarding practices.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Ability to build trust with pupils who require consistency and resilience.
- Calm, patient, and reflective approach to teaching and behaviour management.
- Willingness to contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture.
