Our client based in Wylde Green is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant at a two‑form entry Primary school. The role starts in September and will be ongoing, possibly permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering the primary curriculum
- Assist children with their learning activities and progress
- Help maintain a healthy, safe and inclusive environment in line with safeguarding policies
- Encourage positive behaviour and high expectations for all children
- Work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with teachers, pupils and parents
- Willingness to go the extra mile to improve outcomes for all children
Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (trained) in teaching support
- Minimum 12 months of experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Good oral, written and numeracy skills
- Full understanding of safeguarding minors and how children learn and progress
- Ability to enthuse and inspire children and maintain high expectations
- Team working and strong commitment to improving outcomes for all children
