We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with SEND. A school near the Lozells area requires a full-time TA to work within its SEN resource base, caring for children who have a wide range of needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support children with personal care as required.
- Provide practical support to children with SEND in daily classroom and activity settings.
Qualifications
- Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care / Teaching Assistant / EYFS / Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting individuals with SEND.
- A calming nature and a genuine passion for making a difference to children’s learning.
- Ability to provide at least two reference contact details, covering at least two years.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the updated service – if you do not currently have a DBS you must apply for one during registration.
