Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Qualified Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support in a specialist or alternative provision setting.
The Role:
- Full-time teaching position within an SEMH setting
- Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual needs
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
- Managing behaviour effectively using a calm and consistent approach
- Working closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external agencies
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with SEMH pupils or in a specialist setting
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
