We are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant with EYFS experience to support students, including those with SEND, at a primary school in Great Barr from September 2026 to July 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children in the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
- Assist children who are non‑verbal and provide one‑to‑one support to pupils with SEND.
- Use MAKATON where possible to facilitate communication.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 3+ teaching assistant qualification (NVQ or CACHE preferred).
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one‑to‑one basis.
- Experience of MAKATON is preferable but not essential.
- Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
- Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years.
