Aspire People are experiencing a high demand for English Teachers across secondary schools in Birmingham, with full-time (5 days per week) opportunities available now and throughout the academic year. We have had a significant number of English roles come through this year, and demand continues to grow. As a result, we are looking to build a strong pool of dedicated English teachers ready to step into long-term roles as soon as they arise.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and mark work in line with school expectations (for long-term roles)
- Inspire students to develop strong literacy and analytical skills
- Maintain excellent classroom management and engagement
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in English Language and/or Literature
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A proactive and flexible approach
- Availability for full-time work (5 days per week preferred)
